Pennsylvania State Capitol

Visit Pennsylvania's capitol building and State Supreme Court for a tour of what Theodore Roosevelt claimed to be the "handsomest building" he ever saw. Guided tours are offered during the week and include the Main Rotunda, Senate Chamber, House of Representatives, Governor's Reception, and Supreme Court. Explore the Pennsylvania government at work by visiting the Welcome Center at the capitol, where you can debate and cast your vote, view "Uncommon Commonwealth" (an educational video), learn about your local legislator, as well as learn fun facts about Pennsylvania. Call 4-8 weeks in advance, and you can arrange for your students to meet with your representative.
