Dolan DNA Learning Center

The center’s program explores the principles of genetics and provides the opportunity to do hands-on experiments with DNA. Students middle school aged and up have the opportunity to study molecular biology. Learn about inheritance using corn, or extra DNA from bacteria. High school students can try their hand at genetically engineering bacteria, analyzing human DNA, and may even have the opportunity to analyze their own genotype. Groups can take a look at viruses, make cheese from enzymes, and more.
