Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center

At the Pollock-Krasner House, students visit the art studios of Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner, two of America’s foremost abstract painters. The creative process is vividly illustrated in the barn studio, where the floor is covered with the colorful remnants of Pollock’s most famous poured paintings, and the walls show traces of Krasner’s exuberant gestures. Classes also tour their house, see videos of Pollock at work, and can opt to make their own action paintings.
