Delaware History Museum

 
Located in a renovated art-deco Woolworth store, the Delaware History Museum offers a permanent exhibit of Delaware’s history as well as programs for school groups that support the Common Core Curriculum. Notable school programs include “Coming to America,” on what it was like to be an immigrant in the United States for grades 3rd-6th, “Ahoy Matey! Jolly Rogers in Delaware,” about pirates who visited Delaware in the 1600s and 1700s for grades Pre-K-3rd, and the “Market Street Walking Tour,” where students will look for clues to the past in modern times.
