Fifer Orchards

This family farm is committed to high quality produce and farming practices that preserve a healthy and sustainable environment. A hayride and narrated tour of the farm with knowledgeable staff members can be arranged and lets groups see wildlife, native plants, trees, and crops. Groups can learn about the history of the orchard, the farm’s unique approach to pest management, and how different farming practices like cover crops and reduced tillage help protect the soil. After the tour, have fun picking (depending on the season) strawberries, apples, or pumpkins to bring back to school or camp for healthy snacks.
