Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust

Experienced educators enhance your science curriculum with imaginative experiences. Students will discover the natural world and its many wonders on the 200-acre campus. During the fall, students can visit the barnyard, take a tractor ride, learn about pumpkin life cycles, play a weather game, visit the Farm and Rural Life Museum, go on a themed hike, or discover diversity in the pond. During the Spring, they can visit the baby farm animals, plant seeds that benefit pollinators, make bird observations, identify insects, play a water cycle game, and more! Programming fits CT Core Science Curriculum.
