Florida Museum of Natural History

Groups can schedule a guided or self-guided visit to this museum's indoor and outdoor exhibits. Students and scouts will be able to explore the worlds of butterflies, fossils, frogs, and the natural history of Florida. The Butterfly and Moth Explorations program includes a visit to the Rearing Lab, where the importance of butterfly traits are highlighted. Other activities during guided programs include working with real fossils, a virtual frog dissection, and an exploration of Florida's ecosystems. Homeschoolers are welcome on homeschool days to explore a featured exhibit, examine specimens up close, and more.
