Amarillo Botanical Gardens

Started as a garden club in the 20th century, the Amarillo Botanical Gardens feature an indoor exhibit with a variety of plant species including Japanese, fragrance, xeric, and butterfly gardens. Groups will enjoy learning about butterflies, insects, bees, and more at the botanical gardens. Education programs focus on topics such as conservation, ecology, plants, species studies, water, soils, environmental and impact, energy, land use, and the local culture/history of Amarillo, Texas. Activities for groups include crafts, making a terrarium, planting seeds, and playing games. Maximum amount per group is 50.
