Aviation Hall of Fame & Museum of NJ

The Aviation Hall of Fame & Museum of NJ preserves the Garden State's distinguished, two-century aviation and space heritage. The  museum offers school, scout, and homeschool groups an opportunity to interact with hands-on electronic exhibits on aerodynamics, space technology and flight simulation. Visitors also view the museum’s 9-minute history video, Hall of Fame inductees, historic aircraft, space artifacts, photographs, fine art, and models. Groups can take a guided tour or book "Dare to Fly", a 4-hour program that allows groups to learn about the science of aerodynamics and then design gliders for a end of day "fly-off". Scouts can spend the night at the museum while experiencing a multimedia space flight seminar (also available to school groups), enjoying history scavenger hunts, and having access to aircraft cockpits. The museum’s library features over 2,500 books that focus on aviation and aerospace, available for viewing and research by appointment.
