American Airpower Museum

Located in a landmarked hangar of the former Republic Aircraft factory, the American Airpower Museum is an ideal setting to introduce middle school and high school aged groups to US military aviation during World War II and the role it played in the defeat of Germany and Japan. Exhibits and aircraft cover the period from World War I to the Iraq War. Our docents interpret the aircraft and exhibits in a way that puts them into the context of American history of the 20th century and today while paying tribute to the men and women who fought and worked in defense plants at home.
