Cave Without A Name

Named in 1940 by a student in a state-wide contest claiming the cave “was too beautiful to have a name,” Cave Without A Name is a natural, living cavern filled with spectacular formations of stalactites, stalagmites, delicate soda straws, cave drapery, magnificent flowstones, rimstone dams, and more. Enjoy a tour of the six major rooms featuring 66º year-round temperatures, easy walkways, and brilliant lighting. Well-informed guides will take your group on a one-hour tour through this marvel of nature’s art. The tour ends at a mysterious underground portion of the Guadalupe River flowing through the Glen Rose aquifer. Good shoes are recommended.
