Asia Society Museum
Asia Society is dedicated to promoting partnerships between Asia and the United States in the arts, culture, education, and policy. Its museum contains exhibitions of traditional and contemporary Asian and Asian American art. The historical collections encompass ceramics, 18th and 19th century illustration, Buddhist artwork, and ancient treasures from China and India. More recent exhibitions have included photographs, film, and contemporary artwork that focuses on issues throughout Asia and the Middle East.

– Vincent Van Gogh created over 2,000 works during his lifetime. However, he was only ever able to sell one of his paintings while he was alive.
– Leonardo Da Vinci was left-handed. He took notes from right-to-left instead of the English language standard left-to-right.
– Pablo Picasso was arrested and questioned regarding the theft of Mona Lisa in 1911. He was released without being charged.
