New York City

American Museum of Natural History

Groups can enjoy over 46 permanent exhibition halls rich in scientific and cultural content at this world-famous museum. On-site programs for groups occur in the Discovery Room, a space for hands-on exploration of artifacts and specimens - such as a mock paleontology dig. At Sackler Educational Laboratory, older groups will conduct in depth lab projects, such as extracting DNA from strawberries or collecting evidence for primate evolution over time. Special themes may be incorporated into museum trips, with options like Birds of the World, or North West Coast Indians.
