Staten Island Children's Museum

Located on the grounds of Sailor’s Snug Harbor, the museum is surrounded by gardens and a large outdoor play space. Learning is made fun and interactive through hands-on programs, exhibits, and themed activity spaces. Learn about environments by exploring a rainforest canopy or build an igloo in the Great Explorations exhibit. Crawl through a human size anthill or watch butterflies being born; there’s even a collection of arthropods! Special workshops feature mask making, bookmaking, and floatation experiments.
