Meet the millers, textile workers, and the wives and children who lived at Greenbank Mill from 1790-1830. Participate in fun hands-on period activities like stick-weaving, baking bread in wood fired ovens, and mapping! Walk through the heritage gardens and learn about the uses of plants in colonial life. Afterwards, participate in games and other leisure activities with the Philips Family. Join them for tea and go on a tour of the house and the farm (complete with heritage livestock). Learn about the history of the gristmill, and how economic challenges and changing technology changed farming and life in early America.
