Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo

Fifty-two acres dedicated to wild and wonderful animals of North and South America that come with a few surprises. A stroll through Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo will introduce your school or scout group to wolves, bison, otters, alligators, and over 300 other species. For those who like their animals a little less wild, Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo has a rustic New England Farmyard, which is home to goats, pigs, cows, sheep, and many other barnyard favorites. The Zoo's historic Carousel, Picnic Grove, Greenhouse, Gift and Snack shops make a trip to the Zoo fun for everyone, no matter how old they are.
