New Jersey

Reeves-Reed Arboretum

This arboretum includes 6 acres of natural woodlands and gardens, both historic and new. On a guided tour, view azaleas, perennials, roses, heirloom trees, and landscapes that preserve the vision of the property’s owners in the 19th and 20th centuries. On field trips, learners acquire both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in the field with nature. Learn about the roles trees have in the environment, or study the structure of habitats while looking for signs of seasonal and ecological change. In the greenhouse, groups can plant seeds in pots or create a mini-terrarium to take home.
