Founded 1968, Repertorio Español (Spanish Theater Repertory) in New York City has produced over 250 original Spanish theater productions for the entertainment of over 1.5 million people. Middle school and college-aged groups will enjoy the repertory’s weekday morning matinee shows, pre-performance lectures, and post-performance Q&As that focus on topics such as immigration, Latino/Hispanic culture, and more. Upcoming shows include La tía Julia y el Escribidor, La Gringa, El Quijote, La Zapatera Prodigiosa, Crónica de Una Muerte Anunciada, and La Casa de Bernarda Alba. Special pricing is available to groups of 10 or more.
