Hicksville Gregory Museum

With its collection dedicated to natural history, local history, and the earth sciences, the Hicksville Gregory Museum is a unique place for exploring science. During a visit to the museum, groups can see fossils, mineral specimens, preserved butterflies, and artifacts from local history. Field trip programs use the collection to educate students about geology, paleontology, and entomology. Groups may learn about rocks under a microscope, explore weathering and erosion, go on a fossil hunt, or explore the evolution of insect life cycles and characteristics through time. For groups looking to self-guide, scavenger hunts are also available.
