The Hammond Museum & Japanese Stroll Garden

Immerse yourself in Asian culture at this 3.5-acre Japanese-style garden. The site features rare trees, a Zen garden, a water lily pond, and bamboo, which are complemented by the museum’s Eastern and Western art and photographs. Groups will start by touring the garden and getting firsthand experience with Asian aesthetics and philosophy. Afterwards, they’ll participate in a creative hands-on workshop, where they can make Japanese woodblock prints or try their hand at Chinese Brush Painting. A Japanese tea ceremony is also available.
