APEC lies within Alley Pond Park’s 635 acres of wetland and forests and is home to more than 300 species of wildlife. Visitors have the opportunity to deepen their connection with the natural world, as they take guided walks through APEC’s nature trails and interact with live animals. APEC offers over twenty hands-on workshops such as testing and comparing the water quality of a salt-water marsh and a fresh-water pond, and interacting with live animals. Each workshop can be customized to accommodate groups of all grades.
