National Museum of Women in the Arts

The hands-on, thematic school tours at the National Museum of Women in the Arts promote critical thinking and meet specific standards of learning. NMWA offers thematic school tours including Come to Your Senses (Grades K–2), Seeing Through Writing (Grades 4–8), and You Be the Critic (Grades 3 and up), led by experienced guides. Students will strengthen visual literacy skills, develop and cement vocabulary, and cultivate observational and evidence-based thinking. Teacher-led self-guided groups are permitted, though they must comply with the reservation policies and chaperone guidelines.
