SCHOOLS
Students will have a fun field trip at RDV Sportsplex Ice Den, that gives a behind-the- scenes look at the science behind ice skating. Our 30-minute educational presentation explains how we keep our ice cold, the differences between figure, hockey and speed skates, and how the ice resurfacing machine operates. After the lesson, students will ice skate during a public skate session (rentals included). For more details, go to: goo.gl/ih9U1U. Stay tuned for an Olympics-themed field trip in winter 2018!
