West Virginia Botanic Garden

Visit the landscaped gardens at West Virginia Botanic Garden. Groups will enjoy walking along the trails as they experience the gardens, which reflect on a shimmering pond. Gardens feature plants such as daffoldils, irises, ferns, lichens, and crocus flowers. Groups will see a variety of wildlife among the plants such as birds and butterflies. Educational programs focus on tree identification, frog and butterfly life cycles, and more. Activities include decorating canvas bags to collect leaves, drawing pictures of flowers in the gardens, and planting seeds in biodegradable pots to take home.
