For the Kids, By George Children's Museum

A product of the Washington Heritage Trail, For the Kids, By George Children's Museum allows young learners to explore the world around them and let their imaginations run wild. Groups will learn about George Washington’s adventures in West Virginia through the Train Station exhibit in the main lobby, which leads to a variety of other fun exhibits. Docents will take groups through the museum as they learn about West Virginia’s historic buildings, Native Americans, the railroad, and more. Museum activities align with curriculum standards of West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia. Teachers can get a preview of the museum before scheduling a field trip.
