Watershed Agricultural Council

The Watershed Agricultural Council offers groups the opportunity to receive a grant to explore New York City’s watersheds through the Watershed Forestry Bus Tour Program. Teachers can choose from bus tours to Clearpool Education Center & Model Forest, Taconic Outdoor Education Center, Teatown Lake Reservation, and Frost Valley YMCA & Model Forest. The tour can include a visit to the Cross River Reservoir or the Neversink Reservoir. Groups can also explore watersheds while planting trees along tributaries in April and May at Hilltop Hanover Farm in the Croton Watershed.
