The Watershed Agricultural Council offers a field trip grant through their Watershed Forestry Bus Tour Program, which allows students to experience the NYC watershed first-hand. The Watershed Forestry Bus Tour Program is a competitive, matching grant program. 

Any organization, community group, or 4th-12th grade classroom in the East and West of Hudson Watersheds or the five boroughs of NYC can apply. Tour themes include watershed form and function, watershed trees and forests, and the New York City water supply system. There are two rounds of funding each year with applications due in early January and August.
