THV Explore Awards

Teaching the Hudson Valley Explore Awards help students learn more about the Hudson Valley’s history, environment, and culture. The grant strives to encourage students to appreciate stewardship in the community. Teachers must live, teach, and plan a field trip in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Putnam, Rensselaer, Rockland, Saratoga, Ulster, or Westchester counties to qualify. Examples of field trips include visits to nature centers, preserves, parks, and other sites that are non-profits and/or owned by the government. Proposals must be submitted at least six weeks before the field trip date.
