Illinois Biodiversity Field Trip Grant

Through the ENTICE (Environment and Nature Training Institute for Conservation Education) program the Illinois Department of Natural Resources offers schools and homeschool groups grants for biodiversity field trips. The field trip must focus on some aspect of biodiversity in Illinois. Multiple teachers from the same school can collaborate on a field trip proposal for up to $500 per teacher or a maximum of $1,000 per collaboration. Applications must include a W-9 from the school. Video podcasts are available online to assist in filling out the grant application.
