The Meemic Foundation

The Meemic Foundation awards grants to schools in Illinois for a variety of programs, including arts, health, history, literature, social studies, STEM, and more. Groups can apply for field trip funding, school assemblies, and other projects related to the aforementioned subject areas. The grant is awarded four times a year. Proposals are evaluated based an criteria such as need, the potenial impact the field trip will have on students, and how the field trip relates to the curriculum. Any unused funds must be returned.
