Driehaus Museum

See the magnificence of the Gilded Age, right in the middle of Chicago. This home features preserved and borrowed furnishings, Tiffany glasswork, and wall and ceiling panels. Groups can arrange for a private tour to learn about restoration, art from the collection, and 19th-century Chicago. Some other tours include the Servants’ Tour, where groups can see the servants’ quarters, and the Twilight Tour, where a museum guide shares stories about the Nickerson family and social life during the 19th century. Exhibits at the museum typically feature artwork from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including illustration, jewelry, and clothing.
