Natural Bridge State Park and Caverns at Natural Bridge

Natural Bridge, once owned by Thomas Jefferson was formed when a cavern collapsed leaving behind the 215-foot natural arch that spans 90 feet. Groups will learn about Monacan Indian cooking, tool production, pottery, basket weaving, and gardening in the Living History Exhibit. The Caverns at Natural Bridge were discovered just before the turn of the 20th century. Tours descend more than 34 stories where groups will experience a living cavern with its inhabitants and view many special features like the Colossal Dome room, which was created over thousands of years. Stay the night at the Natural Bridge Historic Hotel.
