Take your group out to Galveston Bay with Artist Boat. Whether your group prefers kayaking or traveling by foot, Artist Boat’s Eco-Art Adventures allow groups to enjoy hands-on arts and science activities in the great outdoors. Groups can explore coastal Texas while learning about paddle instruction, ecology, barrier islands, salt water marshes, habitats, and more. Activities include using scientific tools to collect data, testing the water quality, and creating plein-air watercolor paintings inspired by Galveston Bay’s natural scenery. Private kayak tours are available for groups of up to 25 students. Artist Boat Eco-Art Adventures align with TEKS.
