Holliday-Dorsey-Fife Museum

Learn the history of Fayetteville and Fayette County at the Holliday-Dorsey-Fife Museum. The 1855 Greek revival antebellum house features exhibits containing period furnishings, informative displays, clothing, art, books, and more. Groups can take a guided or self-guided tour of the museum during which they will learn about the Holliday (of Doc Holliday fame), Dorsey, and Fife families that once lived in the house, the Civil War, Fayette County’s authors, and the historical context of the film Gone with the Wind. After the tour, groups can play a fun trivia game. A tour of the cemetery is also available for an additional fee.
