Duke Farms

Learn about stewardship and sustainability through self-guided tours at Duke Farms. To learn how animals survive, groups can observe habitats and sounds as they walk around the farm. Groups will use Eco-Kits containing a field guide, binoculars, and a compass to search for habitats, take ecology hikes, and enjoy scavenger hunts. Educational programs focus on botany, animal science, mathematics, climate, ecology, and more. Younger learners will enjoy story time on Thursday mornings while older groups will participate in a nature walk and draw the farm’s scenery. Lesson plans are available on the Duke Farms website.
