Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village

Formerly known as the Amherst Museum, Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village gives groups the chance to explore the role of Niagara and the Erie Canal in the Industrial Revolution. A tour of the village’s 10 historic buildings will take your group back in time. Visit the Watchmaker’s Shop to watch the evolution of small mechanics. Stop by the Life on the Erie Canal exhibit to learn about the importance of the canal in the history of transportation of goods and people. Educational tours can accommodate 3 classes (no more than 60 per day).
