Gold Coast Railroad Museum

Visit the Railroad Museum to learn about the historic railcars that have been through the country’s history! These include 1940’s passenger cars, steam and early diesel-electric locomotives, FDR’s Ferdinand Magellan Presidential Railcar, and freight cars. A guided tour will introduce students and scouts to the history of American railroad cars, travel, and technology as they explore the museum. Take a 25-minute train ride through the museum’s property aboard a classic railcar, spend time in the play room and Model Train room, and enjoy a dedicated space for lunch. Reservation booking required.
