Georgia Museum of Agriculture & Historic Village

Experience rural history at this faithfully recreated 19th century village! See costumed townspeople at work in the mills, farmhouse, fields, and in the village. Explore the print shop, drug store, and the original Victorian Tift House. The Visit to the Past workshop lets school groups dress in period clothing and follow an interpreter through parts of the village. Try fun activities like grinding corn, working at the print shop, and even eat an authentic farmhouse lunch. The museum also offers self-guided tours, and visiting groups can schedule time to ride on the Vulcan Steam Train. Homeschool days available.
