DuPont Planetarium

Learn about the moon, the history of astronomy, and other topics at one of DuPont Planetarium’s public shows, or schedule a program with the Digistar projector. Your group can go on a virtual mission to Mars, learning about space travel and the planet’s surface features, or use the Planetarium to learn about the water cycle, storm prediction, and the sun’s effect on Earth’s weather. Other programs (offered through the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center) let groups explore the solar system, or participate in a lunar design challenge. The observatory telescope is open for 30 minutes after public shows (weather permitting).
