Rancocas Nature Center

This nature center runs through meadows, forests, and wetlands, and is the perfect place to teach your group about nature. On a hike through these different habitats, learn about seeds, plant adaptations, and the living and non-living components of a forest. Explore the complex behavior of frogs and butterflies, or investigate the surrounding environment to understand the adaptations of different birds, and bird topography. Learners can even wade through one of Rancocas’ tributaries, using nets to study invertebrates, while learning how these critters reflect water quality! Scouts can visit Rancocas to learn survival skills, and how to navigate the woods.
