Lyonia Environmental Center

Learn all about the Florida scrub at Lyonia Environmental Center. Located inside of the Deltona Regional Library, the 4,000-square-foot facility offers groups a chance to spend time on the Lyonia Preserve trails, view interactive displays, and participate in a variety of educational programs. On guided hikes, groups will spot Florida scrub jays, gopher tortoises, cottontail rabbits, and more. Exhibits feature displays on Florida’s native birds, plants, and sea life. Educational programs focus on scrub habitats, ecosystems, and more. Activities include collecting specimens from the creek using dip nets and learning to use a compass.
