Philadelphia Orchestra

Groups will enjoy being a part of the rich classical musical programming offered by the Orchestra. School concerts, offered during matinee hours, gives groups the full orchestral experience, enhancing their knowledge and appreciation of classical music. Curriculum guides are available for pre- and post-performance exploration, and experienced docents can enhance the visit with guided lessons and tours. Groups can also sit in on open rehearsals, getting a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into the everyday life of an orchestra. School groups can also take advantage of the Musicians in the Schools program, in which musicians will come to your school.
