Roaring Brook Nature Center

The Roaring Brook Nature Center offers a wide variety on and off-site programs. Students can compare families of animals, learn how plants and animals deal with seasons, compare living creatures to non-living components of the environment, use their senses to discover the natural world, explore the life cycles of flowering plants, learn how Native Americans relied on their natural environment, observe insects up close, and so much more. Programs can be adapted for home school groups. Most off-site programs include live animal presentations. Badge opportunities for Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scout Troops and Cub Scout Troops.
