Shubert Theatre New Haven

Shubert's Art in Action program teaches students about Broadway shows by studying themes and creating a response in another artistic medium. Past shows have included Les Miserables, Once and MATILDA. Students' projects are displayed in the lobby for the run of the show! Girl Scouts can earn an exclusive participation patch by attending a pre-show patch program, taking a backstage tour, or attending any Shubert show and buying the patch and activity packet. Programs are also in place to give free tickets to community groups who might not have the opportunity to experience the performing arts.
