New Haven Symphony Orchestra

The New Haven Symphony Orchestra works with students through a variety of carefully crafted programs and concerts. Young People’s Concerts introduce students to musical instruments, genres, and composers. The NHSO travels to Milford, New London, Seymour, Shelton, and Woodstock to present performances. In the various K-12th grade programs students will listen, sing, dance and learn about math, history, literature, and more through music! Students might listen to the musicians read as their instruments become part of the story; be visited by the Maestros for a special project; or learn technique, musicianship, and other skills.
