Canoe Escape

Take a tandem canoe or kayak trip along the Hillsborough River with Canoe Escape. Choose from seven different tours, which include sights of black vultures, alligators, peninsula cooter turtles, red-shouldered hawks, and more. Tours take groups to John B. Sargeant Park, Morris Bridge Park, Wilderness Park, Temple Terrace Tout Creek Park, and Rotary Park, where they will see an abundance of flora and fauna. Knowledgeable guides on tours through the 16,000-acre Wilderness Park preserve will narrate your trip with facts about the Hillsborough River’s plant life, animal life, and history. Beginner and novice paddlers are welcome. Groups of 8 or more canoes must make a reservation.
