Tampa Museum of Art

This museum has a large collection of modern and contemporary art, with selections that focus on different subjects and themes, as well as smaller collections such as 19th century painting, and art, pottery, and artifacts from the ancient world. Your group can learn about aesthetics and themes in art as they explore the worlds of printmaking, mythology, American popular artists, and much more. Docent-led K-12 tours teach students ways to view artwork and use critical thinking skills, as they learn to interpret the work on display and connect it with everyday life.
