Indian Trail Farm

Enjoy Indian Trail Farm’s 60-acre woodland and trails on a field trip that teaches student, scout, and homeschool groups about New Jersey’s original people, the Lenni-Lenape tribe. Groups will receive Lenape education in a 22-foot Tipi taught by a Lenape woman and participate in activities such as feeding fainting goats and peacocks chaperoned by a Cowgirl, playing games, and riding ponies in the 120-foot indoor arena attended by a Mountain Man, Cowhand, Cowgirls, and a Sheriff. A Lenape drum/vocal CD plays throughout the field trip. All staff are dressed in authentic late 1800s attire.
