The Latin American Workshop (El Taller Latino Americano)

 
Have an immersive arts experience at El Taller, learning about Latin American culture through hands-on art, music, and dance workshops personalized to your interest. El Taller has been bringing culturally diverse groups together through language and the arts for 37 years and has developed programming in collaboration with Sesame Street, the MTA Mural Project, and HBO. Taught by our community of native Spanish speakers, past workshops have included: Caribbean Rhythms & Percussion, Salsa Dancing, Mask Making, Singing in Spanish, Mural Making, Caribbean Dance, Poetry of El Barrio, Piñata Building, Cartooning, and an Art and History Walking Tour of El Barrio.
