Rutgers Geology Museum

 
Visit the Rutgers Geology Museum, located in New Brunswick, NJ, just minutes from the Turnpike and within walking distance from the NJ Transit train station. Founded in 1872, this small New Jersey treasure is one of the oldest geology museums in the country. Come learn about New Jersey’s natural history and geologic time with exhibits on fluorescent rocks and minerals, dinosaurs, “Manny” the Mastodon, and more. Free entry during regular operating hours and pre-arranged guided tours are available by request for groups of 10 -50 people. The museum is also available for private events.
