Montauk Point Lighthouse Museum

Montauk Point is a historic site housing many artifacts, photographs, and documents from Long Island’s history. Students, campers, and scouts are invited to tour the museum and grounds, learning about lighthouse life through locations such as the fog signal house, the fire control station, the vegetable harvest meadow, the keeper’s dwelling, and the lighthouse tower. Also available for viewing are historical documents signed by George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.
